New lampwork bead sets are ready to be listed on etsy.
I've been working with special raku clay that has been infused with kyanite, and these pieces will be fired using ancient traditional Japanese raku firing methods at the end of October. I am so excited to see how these turn out! I've created my own line of "signature" pendants and large focal beads and links...more to come later in October.

Bead Soup.
If you haven't checked this out, you must! It's a great group of jewelry making gals who send each other a package of bead soup goodies, and then create something fabulous. You don't know what you're going to get! I have a wonderful local customer named Kristy Abner from www.kristyscreations.com who was nice enough to tell me all about this. So of course I signed up immediately!

Some of my favorite links...
Some of my favorite links:
www.sundancejewelry.com - If you haven't checked out this site for inspiration, you need to! I sell many of the same kinds of gemstone beads used in their jewelry, and quite honestly, my beads are better quality! Make your own jewelry for a fraction of the price!
and of course www.cathydailey.com or cathydailey.etsy.com sells the silver!

It's Summer 2010!!
And too long since I last posted on my blog! I'm so sorry about that!
Here's what's new and changing:
1. Focusing on rare and exotic gemstone beads.
2. I started making jewelry and opened up an etsy jewelry shop: http://www.jenniferpottner.etsy.com/ .
3. I am creating my own sterling silver links and beads handmade by the art of lost wax casting. This process moves along slowly...nothing new in the direct future, but look for more this fall.
4. I'll be introducing and listing Zoa Arts handmade shibuichi components to both my website and my etsy this summer! If you need any of these pieces now, feel free to email me at rockcandygems4u@aol.com.
5. Two big buying trips planned in July and August!
Thanks for stopping by to check out my blog!

New Sterling Silver
Ask any of my customers, and they will tell you that I LOVE specialty patinas! I just received a shipment of new chain am in the process of listing it on etsy and my rockcandybeadsllc.com website. I was able to get some spectacular colors during the oxidation process. All of my chains and findings are oxidized by me. Make sure to check them out!
